Growing up as the son of Haitian immigrant parents, Ric saw first hand how you can take control of your own story through entrepreneurship. In fact, entrepreneurship is what allowed his father, a self-taught tailor, to make his journey to the United States, at a time when resources were scarce. As Ric likes to say, "The mango doesn’t fall too far from the tree."
Today, Ric is a Certified Public Accountant and owner of Modern CPA Group, formed to help others manage their finances, thrive as business owners, and keep more money in their pockets. Prior to owning Modern CPA Group, Ric spent several years in Public Accounting as a consultant, working on various projects from auditing to process improvement to financial statement preparation. Now, through Modern CPA Group, Ric has combined his accounting knowledge, business insight, and consulting experience to help others live out their dreams.
